Pascal Dufour

Pascal Dufour is a DevOps coach and trainer based in the Netherlands, and the founder of both Quality at Speed (a Validate-it company) and Agentic Engineering. For more than 25 years he has helped engineering organisations release software faster without breaking the things that matter.

He has worked across embedded software, healthcare, banking, insurance, retail and the public sector — at clients including Essent, DELA, Action, the Dutch Tax Office, Rabobank, NN and Stater. His engagements range from coaching individual scrum teams to steering DevOps transitions across 70-team organisations. At DELA, his team brought lead times down from eight hours to ten minutes and release cadence from once every two weeks to multiple deploys per day.

Pascal moves between roles: tester, CI/CD coach, scrum master, area coach, test architect. The common thread is making quality and speed reinforce each other, not compete.

He became World Champion of Software Testing in 2016 and is a regular speaker at international conferences including DevOpsDays Eindhoven. He delivers the trainings Professional Agile Tester, Professional Scrum Developer and AI-Enabled Software Development for DevOps Teams, and is a PST-trainer candidate.

His personal motto: "A day without learning is a day not lived." It is also why everyone at Quality at Speed spends at least four hours a week learning something new.
